How to go to Huangguoshu waterfall?
May I know how to go to Huangguoshu waterfall from Longji Terraces? Should I go back to Guilin or Longsheng to take bus or train? Or can I directly go to the waterfall after visiting Longji Terraces? How much and how long the journey? Please recommend transportation to go back to GuongZhou as well.

But i thought Huangguoshu waterfall is the biggest waterfall in Asia. It is famous for its natural scenic beauty. I purposely travel for another 12-14 hours for that waterfall. My concern is the entrance fee a bit expensive, RMB 180. Why Guiyang route is more worthy? You mean visiting to HongFeng Lake in Guiyang as well?

Longsheng -> Sanjiang(by bus) ->Luoxiang(by bus, if not so many bus , you can go to Congjiang ->Shuikou(get off at Zhaoxing) -Zhaoxing->Libo(by bus)->Mawei(by bus)-> Guiyang(by train, there is several train in a day.

If I change my plan and not going to Huangguoshu waterfall, I also cannot visit so many places suggested by you. I only have 2 days for Guizhou. Among all the places suggested by you, which one you will recommend me to visit? I have no idea beside Huogguoshu waterfall.
To be honest, 2 days is hardly enough for you to arrive Guiyang from Longji by bus (bus is the only transportation mean from Longsheng to Guizhou). Most likely, you need to take connecting transportation as Longsheng-->Sanjiang(4hrs)-->Congjiang(4hrs)-->Kaili(6~7hrs)-->Guiyang(3hrs). Most of the long distance buses leave in early morning. Congjiang is the best place to visit on route. For detail, pls refer to the web page Congjiang.
The alternative is to take a bus from Longsheng to Guilin(around 2hrs, Y25), and then travel to Guiyang by air at night. But flight ticket should be booked in advance for good discount. From Guiyang, you can either visit the Minority Miao village Leishan via Kaili or go to Huangguoshu waterfall, for both places, you can return to Guiyang on the 2nd day.
At first I only planning to vist Huangguoshu Waterfall at Guizhou beside Guilin, Yangshuo and Longji Terrace. Maybe will drop by Guiyang for the Hongfeng Lake. Thank you for giving me more idea about nice places in Guizhou. Now, I am not sure where to go. I think I only can choose one out of many choices. Guiyang and Minority Miao village Leishan via Kaili or go to Guiyang and Huangguoshu waterfall? Or Sanjiang and Congjiang? which one is the best place to visit?

we apologize if these replies confused you. According to your time schedule, and suppose you will travel from Guilin to Guiyang by air, the only possible destination is Leishan or Huangguoshu. They are quite different in style, and you can't say which one is better than the other, it really depends on your interest - minority culture or natural scene.

The only transportation connecting the Longji Terraces with outside world is the Longsheng County -Longji -Dazhai line. Though not sure if there is a direct bus from Longsheng to Guiyang, personally I don't recommend you go back to Guilin, the Longsheng - Sanjiang - Liping/Zhaoxing - Guiyang route is more worthy than Huangguoshu waterfall. Huangguoshu is a commercial place for Chinese tour groups.
