When Beihai orchid will be in blossom?
Since your site focuses on remote China areas. I have a question which may fall into the category.
I've heard the orchid in Beihai wetland (near Tengchong?) blossoms out in Spring, when is the exact time? Can I catch it in the end of April? I try to be there before the Chinese May day golden week.

IC66, it's blooming sporadically now but the height will be between mid. Apr. to the end of the month. You will be there just in time.
By the way, the blue little flowers are not orchid but flower-de-luce
